Bimal has over 22 years of experience across different industries, and across geographies including the USA, Middle East and Africa and APAC. His latest corporate position was as HR Director for Nokia, supporting the massive growth for the company over the last few years. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from Xavier Labour Relations Institute (1988), Jamshedpur.
He has recently chosen to become an entrepreneur by starting Think Talent and focusing on talent and leadership development work. Dr. Kumar is a Mechanical Engineer with Master's in Design and Production from MNR Engineering College Allahabad. He completed his research work on System Dynamics Simulation Modeling in 1984 from IIT Delhi. He has worked as trainer cum management consultant; took up teaching and research assignments in India and abroad; established a manufacturing unit followed by a 100% export-oriented offshore software development center of a German firm, before moving to an IT multinational of UK where he worked for 7 years in various capacities. He moved to Braahmam as Operational Director in July 2004.
