LocWorld, the World’s Leading Localization Conference, also known as “The marketplace of the language industry”, is organised multiple times during the year in different cities around the world, and is dedicated to international business, translation, localization and global website management.

The two creators, Ulrich Henes, founder of “The Localization Institute”, and Donna Parrish, publisher of “Multilingual” magazine, got together in 2003 to design an event where people can network and learn, where old business solidify and new business are created.

At LocWorld, most of the leading global companies are represented: people responsible for communicating across the boundaries of language and culture in the global marketplace meet and exchange experiences, opinions, new solutions and the latest innovations in the field. This 38^th LocWorld Conference is taking place in Seattle this October, and the main theme of the conference is “Digital Transformation”.

The programme of the conference will gravitate around discovering how the localization industry should develop to meet the global needs and challenges encountered by businesses in the age of digital transformation.

The talks will focus on technologies like the Internet of Things, big data, machine to machine communication and blockchain, to mention a few. Specific emphasis will be given throughout the conference to applications of Artificial Intelligence in the development of translation project management, through new processes and updated standards that streamline system intercommunication.

At the Smartcat Partner Day on Friday October 19th, as part of the event program, Braahmam CEO Mr. Biraj Rath will make a speech on the topic ‘Growing Business With Smartcat Effortlessly’.
